Arya Bhatt, C.V. Raman and Shakuntala Devi like wizards have the ability to solve even the most difficult puzzles of mathematics. In order to provide readers, a different kind of entertainment, which could enhance their intellectual level as well, this time ‘Diamond Comics' is coming up with a novel and unique puzzle ‘Kason Kurosu' or ‘Kakuro'. In Japanese language ‘Kason Kurosu' means addition.

Although many kinds of mathematical puzzles get published in scores of mazazines and books abroad, In India they're scarcely available. Even if one gets a few, they are invariably foreign publications which hardly come true on the criteria of Indian readers. In order to fill up this vaccume, we're coming up with this magazine. For solving these puzzles, you must know elementary tricks of addition with the help of some definite summation rules, you will be able to solve them. These sums shall not only add to your memory power, even those children who panic at the mention of mathematics will be able to easily develop interest in mathmatics. The Kakuro Puzzles presented in this magazine are perhaps appeaning in print for the first time in the world. The 25 x 25 Suduko is being presented exclusively by us for the first time.

We also want to assert that no software has been employed by us in preparing all these puzzles. All have been prepared by hand. These puzzles would not only enhance the aspirants' intellectual level or entertain them only, but shall also keep their mind more fresh and active.

All the puzzles included in it are based on the numbers. You need not to be a master in mathmatics to solve them. In fact, even those can solve them, who know that 2 + 1 = 3. You must have come across only 9-9 Suduko. But our presentation consists 4 x 4, 6 x 6, 8 x 8, 9 x 9, 10 x 10, 12 x 12, 15 x 15 as also even 25 x 25 Sudoku and a variety of + – Sudoku and Killer Sudokus.

In this magazine, three absolutely new type of puzzles are being presented, which are called ‘SANKHYA SANGAM' (Confluence of numbers) ‘ANKA-JAAL' (Number-web) and Ank-Paheli (Number puzzles). While preparing these puzzles special care has been taken to offer the readers new dimensions of entertainment, so their minds be more fresh and agile.
